The Pacsun Summer 2025 Internship Program is officially open, offering 11 unique opportunities to join a team at the forefront of creativity and innovation. Based in Anaheim, CA, these internships provide hands-on experience in shaping the trends and ideas that define youth culture.
Whether you’re looking to build your skills, contribute to impactful projects or kickstart your career in fashion and lifestyle, this program is your chance to make a difference while learning from industry leaders.
This program will challenge your ability to not only think critically and creatively, but also work as a team to strategize and implement solutions. Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to the long- term strategies and day-to-day tasks required in your selected department.
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Program Dates: 10 week program / June 17 – August 22, 2025
Men’s Design Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with line guides
- Create Color Cads and Roll-outs
- Organize samples and concept room
- Conduct trend research and consumer research
- Assist in creating garment technical package
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates
- Must be available to work full time schedule
- Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement
- Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong Creative writing skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to think outside the box
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel*)
- Intermediate skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Experience with Web PDM preferred

Kids Buying Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn the merchandising/buying process from beginning to end
- Enter PO’s and assist with other projects related to buying
- Attend Meetings with Product Development, Design or Branded Partners
- Sample management
- Own trend and competitive marketplace analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates, degree in Fashion Merchandising preferred
- Must be available to work full time schedule
- Passion for fashion, retail experience, and process improvement
- Computer skills: Need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Eager to learn about buying and soak in and apply a lot of information
- Knowledge of current trends
- Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to think outside the box, problem solver
- Quickly able to learn new business system practices
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Retail experience preferred

Product Development Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and track the development of samples
- Evaluate sample execution and ensure tech pack adherence with Product Manager
- Issue purchase orders and manage open order report
- Manage vendor WIP reports and communicate any changes to Product Manager
- Track shipments to ensure timely delivery of inventory
- Create and maintain seasonal files
- Maintain sample rack
- Manage outgoing and incoming international packages.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates, toward a degree concentrated in Fashion/Retail (this is not an IT focused internship)
- Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement
- Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong organization skills
- Strong Creative writing skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Retail experience preferred
- Ability to think outside the box
- Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications

Accounting Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be curious; Ask questions.
- Learn about Pacsun by observing members of the Accounting Department across general, inventory, and operations as they perform their functions.
- Assist with research, record keeping, and maintaining complete and accurate financial records.
- Assist with creating and updating accounting procedures and documenting key processes.
- Assist with the preparation of SOC1 mapping, invoices and other documents.
- Work with accounting and other operational software as needed.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Build strong relationships with members of the Accounting Department and cross functionally.
- Produce high quality work that is well documented and supported, and easy to follow.
- Proactively seek guidance and feedback.
- Demonstrate initiative.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates
- Available to work a full-time schedule
- Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement
- Basic knowledge and proficiency with key Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)
- Proficiency in PowerQuery is a plus!
Women’s Buying Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learning the buying process and tying in the financial aspect of buying
- Attending meetings (both cross functional as well as vendor and brand meetings)
- Receipt, sample, and PO management
- Trend forecasting
- Competitor analysis
- Data entry
- Blending the social media aspect into the buying processes.
- Assist with E-Commerce strategies and product
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates
- Must be available to work full time schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft, edit, and publish communications for store teams, ensuring clarity and consistency.
- Support the maintenance of communication tools, including resource libraries and calendars.
- Assist with planning and executing projects, such as store rollouts, promotions, and operational updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, implement solutions, and drive initiatives.
- Track and respond to requests through the department inbox and HQ ticketing portal to ensure timely resolutions.
