The Tapestry Summer 2026 internship program is now open in New York City, offering undergraduate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the company’s global portfolio, which includes Coach and Kate Spade. Known for developing early-career talent through meaningful projects, mentorship, and exposure to real business operations, Tapestry provides an inside look at how modern luxury brands innovate, grow, and connect with consumers.

This program is designed for students who want to build practical skills, learn from industry leaders, and experience the inner workings of a multi-brand fashion group shaping the future of retail and design.

PROGRAM DETAILS:
Program Duration: 10 Weeks
▸ Program Dates: June 2nd, 2026 – August 7th, 2026
Application Deadline: January 12, 2026
▸ Work structure: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office)
Location: New York City Hudson Yards Office 
Compensation: $20/hour

AVAILABLE ROLES

Buying, Planning and Wholesale Intern

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Buying, Planning and Wholesale Intern will leverage their proficiency in Buying, Planning or Wholesale to work within either the Coach or Kate Spade teams

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze Excel reports and identify headlines and key metrics based on weekly sales
  • Influence category assortment through product performance, customer feedback/trends, and local market knowledge
  • Manage sample requests for Buying teams, as well as cross functional requests, in conjunction with the Sample Library
  • Competitively shop in the market to identify trends in direct and aspirational competitors in both product (i.e. silhouette, price, novelty) and storytelling messaging (i.e. VM, in-store concepts)
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative-thinking skills to identify areas of opportunity within business, current processes and unexpected challenges 
  • Strong communication skills: able to clearly articulate ideas through both verbal and written communication 
  • Adaptability and flexibility: ability to receive change well and positively flex as situations arise; agile, solutions-oriented mindset with openness to trying new, innovative approaches

Communications Intern

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Communications Intern will partner with the Communications teams to help create and implement compelling communications campaigns to drive employee engagement internally and position Tapestry as a great place to work for prospective candidates externally. From social channels – such as LinkedIn and Instagram – to the intranet, the Communications Intern will play a key role in helping develop content and tell the unique company story.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create content for internal and external audiences, including social media posts, blog posts, and graphics/gifs 
  • Assist the Tapestry Social Media team with executing Tapestry social media strategy and maintaining social media editorial calendar 
  • Research latest media trends; identify opportunities where Tapestry can join the social conversation  
  • Support daily operations of our channels as needed (e.g., email blasts, the Loop intranet, social channels) and assist Communications team members with various projects as needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading skills and attention to detail

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Global Environments & Architecture Intern will leverage their proficiency in Global Environments & Architecture to work within our Tapestry corporate team.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and edit presentations boards  
  • Manage and organize the materials library   
  • Assist on one-off facilities projects like artwork layouts or office moves 
  • Update CAD templates and fixture blocks 
  • Revise renderings in Photoshop for upcoming design presentations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in working in retail or architectural environment

Supply Chain Intern

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Supply Chain Intern will leverage their proficiency in Supply Chain and Operations to work within the Coach, kate spade, or Tapestry corporate teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work across all Materials and Product Development teams, to support Leather, Fabric, Hardware and Color Development 
  • Partner with team members to maintain and organize efficient libraries as well as archiving systems 
  • Possess an awareness of the product development timeline and understand how their function relates to the big picture 
  • Maintain clear communication within the internal and external partners and vendors 
  • Help in the supplier selection and negotiation process through the use of standard tools and capabilities (RFI, RFP, etc)  in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Perform market analysis and benchmark suppliers, products, and spend for assigned projects 
  • Assist in monitoring of supplier performance and work with suppliers to develop product execution timelines, resolve quality / performance issues, and identify opportunities that will drive efficiencies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Finance Intern

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Finance Intern will leverage their proficiency in Finance to work within either the Coach, kate spade, or the Tapestry corporate teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Tapestry’s annual profitability benchmarking exercise, which entails detailed quantitative and qualitative research to establish acceptable levels of taxable income under Transfer Pricing principles for Tapestry’s global operations 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to document current industry and economic trends in Tapestry’s operating jurisdictions globally 
  • Ensure retail sales and payments are recorded accurately in the general ledger 
  • Reconcile cash and credit card receivable accounts 
  • Investigate cash deposit overages/shortages. Ensure incident reports are filed and communicated to Loss Prevention 
  • Track and report expenses related to our business processes 
  • Work directly in our system to automate accounting and reporting of key areas of spend 
  • Support the financial close process through partnerships formed with the accounting team

Merchandising Intern

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Merchandising Intern will leverage their proficiency in Merchandising to work within the Coach or kate spade teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the team in all systemic work such as line plan creation, price changes, assortment updates, etc. 
  • Support the team in owning sample management process, including partnering with Visual Merchandising, Business Units, Creative, and other Merchandising teams on sample sharing.  
  • Compile competitive shopping analysis and present relevant conclusions.  
  • Shadow team during touch bases with cross functional partners (i.e., Design, Planning, Product Development, Visual Merchandising, etc.) to develop strong understanding of product from concept to in-store execution. 
  • Assist in managing and distributing weekly, monthly, quarterly sales reports.

The Tapestry Summer 2026 eComm Intern will leverage their proficiency in eCommerce/Digital to work within the Coach, kate spade, or Tapestry teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile topline business results and KPI metrics to analyze findings weekly/monthly 
  • Analyze performance and visitor behavior using Google Analytics and other digital platforms 
  • Research best practice shopping experiences and opportunities for improvement and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders 
  • Collaborate with creative, editorial and CRM teams to move marketing assets through pipeline 
  • Report on Homepage Behavior and Conversion KPI’s to tell stories with data and influence content strategy 
  • Project management and upkeep of cross-channel initiatives 
  • Act as support for entire ecommerce or digital teams with various projects or programs

The Tapestry Summer 2026 IT, Digital and Data Analytics Intern will leverage their proficiency in IT (CyberSecurity), Product Management, Data Analytics, or Digital Experience to work within the Tapestry corporate team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor network activity, assist with threat detection, and support incident response
  • Help maintain SIEM solutions and distribute security notifications
  • Contribute to cybersecurity metrics, reporting, and remediation tracking
  • Support IT operations, compliance, and data protection tasks
  • Apply knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals
  • Assist with troubleshooting and basic forensics

QUALIFICATIONS

The Tapestry Summer 2026 Intern will support Tapestry’s sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, product sustainability, circularity initiatives and responsible supply chain in support of the 2026 Corporate Responsibility Strategy. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and benchmark external industry and global apparel trends and conduct competitive analysis in order to identify white space opportunities to make recommendations 
  • Assisting in annual corporate reporting (i.e., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and carbon accounting 
  • Coordinate and track updates on our 2026 Goals and team project plans 
  • Support internal teams on the adoption of more sustainable fibers and traceability initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An excellent grasp of sustainability, environmental and climate-related concepts and issues, including energy and climate strategies best practice 
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, GHG accounting, CDP, GRI, SASB and TCFD
