Global Merchandising Footwear Assistant, COACH

Work Setup: Hybrid 
Base Pay: Range $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 Annually

Primary Purpose: To be a key team member of Footwear Merchandising team, supporting the continued growth of Coach’s Footwear business. 

Owning System Management, Edits, Processes

  • Input and manage sku and style details into ECVision & Collection Curator system 
  • Create and manage full sku line list in excel, to guide buyers on global point of view at market
  • Support misc. sample needs and management for meetings, showroom setup and presentation prep

Manage Assortment Tools & Market Prep Documents

  • Own all aspects of Footwear edit/presentation prep for all merchandising documents 
  • Partner with bags merchant to ensure deck satisfies team direction. 
  • Spearhead more conceptual and directional ideas to improve processes and documents
  • Key point person for FTW business knowledge and sku detail for our cross functional teams
  • Use product and sales data knowledge to effectively make assortment decisions 
  • Responsible for compiling, seeking, and analyzing all relevant FTW information for given time period to ensure alignment to larger corporate strategies. 
  • Create various Powerpoint decks and boards to be used by teams for milestone meetings
  • Communicate all post presentation assortment updates to cross functional teams 

Analyze and Present Assortment and Weekly Sales Analysis 

  • Analyze sales performance for FTW line on various time periods
  • Identify market nuances and opportunities through buy and sales analysis
  • Use inventory and buy reports to create buy recaps and identify opportunities
  • Leverage planning reports to track long term business trends & present to team
  • Support team in preparation for key deliverables using analysis skills 

Market Research 

  • Research competition and broader industry (stores, runways, news, trend reports) in order to better understand the larger Footwear market and keep team abreast of trends.
  • Use market findings to contribute to creation of line plan and business strategy
  • Suggest assortment opportunities and new ideas for the Gen Z customer 

Organization and Team 

  • Partner closely with Manager and Assistants on team
  • Create strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams including merchandising peers, internal market buyers, design teams, product development, visual merchandising, global merchandise planning, marketing, and creative groups.


  • Support team in all systemic work such as line plan creation, price changes, assortment updates, etc.
  • Support team in owning sample management process, including partnering with Visual Merchandising, Business Units, Creative, and other Merchandising teams on sample sharing.
  • Shop the market to stay abreast of trends. Compile competitive shopping analysis and present relevant conclusions.
  • Attend touch bases with cross functional partners (i.e., Design, Planning, Product Development, Visual Merchandising, etc.) to develop strong understanding of product from concept to in-store execution.

Base Pay: Range $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 Annually

Position Overview: As the Associate Manager, Sustainability Operations, the individual in this role will assist in all operational functions for Coach (Re)Loved, Coach’s circular fashion (re-commerce) program aimed at keeping products in use and out of landfills by creatively reimagining or recycling pre-loved items and giving them a second life.

This associate manager will lead sourcing and authentication of for the Vintage pillar. Additionally, they will track the status of all Coach (Re)Loved units, leading cross-functional pre-launch communication to ensure a seamless go-to-market process. They will own reporting, including financial, sustainability and customer metrics and partner closely with IT on the development of tools and systems to enable Coach to further scale re-commerce.

They will also support the Coach Manager of Sustainability and Director of Sustainability as needed on the implementation and execution of other brand sustainability programs/projects.

The ideal candidate has experience in ecommerce or recommerce, supply chain, retail operations, master data creation and database creation and maintenance. They will also understand retail systems and workflows and have a passion for sustainability and implementing business models that reduce environmental impact and position Coach as a sustainability leader.


  • Lead sourcing and authentication for the Vintage pillar
  • Lead cross-functional communication and status tracking throughout each launch process  
  • Work with cross-functional partners to resolve problems and ensure a seamless go-to-market prior to each launch
  • Partner with IT on the development of tools and systems to further scale Coach (Re)Loved

  • Support Director of Sustainability with financial analysis and reporting
  • Support Director of Sustainability and Manager of sustainability on the execution of other brand sustainability projects and programs


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years prior experience working in a sustainability, recommerce/ecommerce role, master data creation, financial analysis and/or database management in the retail/fashion industry or an equivalent combination of work and education experience
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels
  • Creative problem solver with strong business acumen and ability to innovate

Position Overview: A key member of the Tapestry global communications team, this role works in a matrix organization to develop powerful executive communications and drive employee engagement for Coach. This role reports to the Vice President, Communications and works closely with leaders and partners around the world including the Coach Senior Leadership Team, Coach Creative Studio, Coach PR Team, Tapestry Executive Committee, Investor Relations, Coach Foundation Leadership and the Global Communications Team.

Collaborate on a variety of projects across Coach and Tapestry with the following accountabilities:

  • Executive Communications: Proactively develop communications strategies and content for the Coach CEO & Brand President in various internal and external channels ranging from speech writing and presentations to videos, blog updates, emails, social posts, media interviews and podcasts.
  • Employee Communications: An important audience are they 17,000+ employees across all stores and corporate offices. This individual is responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that engage employees on the company/brand vision and business strategies. Key focus on creative communications strategies that bring the brand to life.
  • Talent Branding: Develop communications strategies that positions Coach as a brand employees love to work for. Lead social media content and strategy for Coach LinkedIn.
  • Live Events: Work with a cross functional team to lead content development for a variety of events including leadership meetings, town halls, investor presentations and global store manager conferences.
  • Data and Metrics: Leverage data and insights to measure communications impact and adjust strategy.


  • 5+ years of work experience developing and implementing effective communication plans and strategies; working with senior leaders; and developing engaging communications preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications preferred
  • Strong executive presence, with a proven track record of working with all levels of employees, from stores to C-suite preferred

Position Overview: The Coordinator, Global Visual Merchandising Men’s & Coachtopia – will support in sample coordination/management, creating compelling visual guidelines and assist in developing visual strategies to drive brand awareness, meet sales objectives and maximize profitability.

This position will interact with cross-functional teams to identify key messages and set clear goals that continuously elevate the consumer experience. This will be a multi-channel role supporting Retail, Outlet and Coachtopia.


  • Organize, pull and manage product samples.                             
  • Support the creation of monthly In Store Global VM Guidelines:
    • Partner with Global Merchandising, Sample Management, Marketing and Design to create dynamic and innovative VM Direction
    • Physical and digital content creation
  • Support setup of seasonal showrooms installations and special events.
  • Conduct seasonal trend reporting and inspiration research.


  • 2-3 years of visual merchandising experience with fashion related brands, specialty retailer; field visual or in-store merchandising and/ or corporate visual experience preferred.
  • Experience working with leather goods and lifestyle categories: bags, small leather goods, ready-to-wear, footwear, watches and sun wear.
  • Passion for visual merchandising and fashion.
  • Ability to take direction, multi-task and manage shifting priorities.
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel).
