I pulled together 15 of the current openings that give you a good sense of the different career paths available within the house. There are additional Saint Laurent internships open beyond these, so I’ll also show you where to find those at the end.

Saint Laurent January 2027 Internships
Saint Laurent currently has January 2027 internships open in Paris across social media, press, digital media, VIP relations, design, merchandising, e-commerce, buying, textiles, retail strategy and finance.
Social Media Engagement Intern
Career area: Social Media / Digital Marketing
Education: Bac+5 with a specialization in Digital Marketing
If social media is where you want to build your career, read this job description closely because it gives a pretty good picture of how sophisticated social has become inside a global fashion company.
The intern supports content strategy and scheduling across multiple platforms and regional teams, along with social listening, competitive research, reporting and performance analysis. The position also works across teams including image, marketing, production, VIP and media.
Saint Laurent is looking for someone with previous social media experience in APAC, strong analytical and writing skills, and an understanding of different social platforms and audiences. Experience with tools such as Tableau and Figma is preferred, and strong English plus another widely spoken language is requested.

Press France/Europe Intern
Career area: Public Relations / Communications
This is one of the more traditional entry points into fashion PR, with the intern supporting the press team responsible for the French market and several European countries for the women’s collections.
Responsibilities include managing editorial requests for products, visuals and credits, coordinating sample shipments and returns, working with the showroom and prototype teams, maintaining journalist information and helping with media monitoring and shopping strategies.
Saint Laurent prefers candidates with a communications, press or business background. Microsoft Office is required, Launchmetrics experience is a plus, and candidates need both French and English.
If you’ve been trying to understand what an entry-level fashion PR role actually looks like, notice how much coordination sits underneath the communications piece. Strong organization and follow-through matter just as much as an interest in media.

Digital Media Intern
Career area: Digital Media / Marketing
Duration: 6 months
Education: Master’s student
This internship sits within the Media & Marketing department and supports Saint Laurent’s international digital advertising strategy.
The work includes online campaigns across social, display and brand search, coordinating advertising formats and production, consolidating campaign results and analyzing performance. The intern also works with the image team, outside agencies and teams across different markets.
French and English are required, along with Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience with a media agency or in digital is considered a plus.
For anyone comparing this with the Social Media Engagement role, this one moves closer to paid media, campaign execution and advertising performance. They sit in the same broader digital world, but the day-to-day work and skills you would develop are quite different.

VIP Assistant Intern
Career area: VIP / Celebrity Relations
Duration: 6 months
If you’ve ever wondered what an internship in VIP relations actually involves, this posting gives you a useful look behind the scenes.
The intern supports the VIP department with sample trafficking through Launchmetrics, product placement across markets, tracking VIP content, weekly and monthly reporting, events and inventory management.
Saint Laurent is looking for candidates from a business or fashion education background who are comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint. Both French and English are required.
There is a lot of logistics underneath celebrity and VIP work that you don’t necessarily see from the outside. Someone who is organized, responsive and comfortable managing products, deadlines and detailed tracking could be a much better fit for this field than someone drawn to it solely because of the celebrity-facing aspect.

Assistant Graphic Designer, Image Intern
Career area: Graphic Design / Brand Image
Duration: 6 months
Portfolio: Required
This internship sits within the Design & Offline team in Saint Laurent’s Image department and supports the creation and production of printed visual communications.
The work includes campaign layouts for offline media, coordinating assets with global and local teams, preparing files for print production, creative research and supporting projects involving invitations, menus, photography and other physical brand materials.
Candidates should be studying graphic design, applied arts or visual communication at Master’s level and have strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Fluent English and previous experience in advertising or fashion are also requested. A portfolio must be included with the application.
For creative applicants, this is where your application itself becomes evidence of your skills. Your portfolio should make it easy to understand both your visual point of view and how you think through a project.

Product Designer, Studio Rive Droite Intern
Career area: Product Design
Duration: 6 months
Education: Bac+3 in Product Design
Portfolio: Required
If your design interests go beyond apparel, this is one of the more interesting creative roles in the group.
The internship sits within Saint Laurent’s Rive Droite studio and focuses on product and object design. The role calls for someone who can contribute creatively while also working through the technical side of bringing product concepts to life.
Saint Laurent is looking for a Bac+3 student studying Product Design with strong Adobe skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Rhino and KeyShot are considered a plus, as is previous experience in object design. Candidates should be creative, adaptable, organized and comfortable proposing their own ideas. A portfolio is required along with the resume.
This is also a reminder that a design career within a fashion company does not automatically mean designing clothes. Luxury brands need people who understand objects, environments, graphics and experiences too.

Collection Merchandising Intern
Career area: Collection Merchandising / Product
Duration: 6 months
Saint Laurent is recruiting interns across several Collection Merchandising teams, including men’s and women’s leather goods, men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, women’s shoes and jewelry.
Interns help with collection development, development meetings, showroom selling tools, prototypes and collection information. The analytical side includes sell-in analysis, best sellers, KPIs, SKU efficiency and weekly and monthly product performance.
Saint Laurent is looking for candidates from a business school or specialized fashion Master’s program. Previous luxury experience and product sensitivity are requested, along with strong Excel skills and fluent English. Italian is considered a plus.
Merchandising is one of those careers that makes much more sense once you see the creative and commercial responsibilities sitting next to each other. You’re close to product, but you also need to be comfortable with performance data and understanding what is happening commercially.

Candidates need fluent French and English, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and previous merchandising or related experience.
Compare this one with Collection Merchandising above. Both involve product and numbers, but this position brings you closer to retail performance, assortment and what happens once products are moving through the business.

Retail Merchandising Leather Goods Intern
Career area: Retail Merchandising / Leather Goods

This role focuses specifically on leather goods and combines product knowledge with commercial analysis.
The intern supports collection-performance analysis, sell-through, pricing and assortment reviews, showroom buying analysis and merchandising projects. Candidates should be comfortable working with numbers and have strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
The specialization is worth noticing. As you progress in merchandising, you may find yourself becoming deeply knowledgeable about a particular category. An internship focused on leather goods can start building that product expertise early.

Gifting & Merchandising Rive Droite Intern
Career area: Gifting / Merchandising / Project Coordination
Duration: 6 months
This one is a good reminder that fashion careers do not always come with the job titles students already know to search.
The internship spans gifting, shoots, studio support and merchandising for Rive Droite. Responsibilities include managing gifting requests and product information, tracking stock and costs, supporting campaign and packshot shoots, monitoring project timelines and helping coordinate product development.
Saint Laurent is looking for someone studying business, fashion or project management who is organized, comfortable with Excel and able to work across several teams. Professional English is required.
It’s a broad role, which could be useful for someone who knows they want to work around fashion product and brand image but hasn’t narrowed down one specific function yet.

Digital Merchandiser, Leather Goods Intern
Career area: E-commerce / Digital Merchandising
Education: Bac+5, business school
Language: Fluent English required
If you like both product and e-commerce, this role sits directly between the two.
The intern supports Saint Laurent’s digital merchandising activity for leather goods, including online product launches, merchandising updates, product categorization and monitoring product visibility across partner platforms. The role also works closely with Customer Service on product questions.
There is an analytical component around showroom buying as well. The intern helps prepare pre-showroom analysis of current collection performance and best sellers, coordinates buying tools and contributes to final buying presentations shared with senior management.
Saint Laurent is looking for a Bac+5 business student completing a gap-year or final-year internship. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and Office proficiency, an understanding of digital environments and an interest in luxury product are required. Fluent English is mandatory.
This is a useful role for anyone who sees e-commerce and merchandising as completely separate career paths. Digital merchandising brings them together. You need to understand the product, how it performs and how the customer encounters it online.

WW Retail Omnichannel Business Analyst Intern
Career area: Retail Strategy / Business Analytics
Business students, this is one I would spend some time with.
The Retail Omnichannel team works across services including Order in Store, Pick up in Store, Ship-from-Store, Reserve in Store and Book an Appointment. The intern collects and analyzes performance data, builds dashboards, identifies customer and operational trends and helps develop recommendations for markets and stores.
Saint Laurent is looking for a business student interested in luxury, retail, digital and data. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are expected, while Power BI or Tableau knowledge is a plus. English is required.
This is a good example of how broad “working in fashion” really is. If you enjoy customer behavior, data and figuring out how physical and digital retail work together, there is a career path for that inside a luxury house.

Assistant Fabric Buyer Intern
Career area: Buying / Textiles / Product Development
Duration: 6 months
Education: Business or Fashion school
Language: Strong English; Italian is a plus
If you’re interested in how a collection actually gets made, fabric buying puts you much closer to the process behind the finished product.
The role supports fabric purchasing and coordination, including working with mills and factories, managing fabric collection and transportation, and making sure necessary product information is properly entered into Saint Laurent’s systems.
Saint Laurent is looking for someone studying at a business or fashion school. Previous luxury experience and product sensitivity are considered a plus, along with strong English. Italian is also useful. Strong Microsoft Office skills, organization, flexibility and teamwork are important for the position.
For students who enjoy fashion product but don’t necessarily want to design, buying and sourcing are worth learning about. They require product knowledge, supplier relationships, organization and an understanding of how creative decisions eventually become physical products.

Studio Fabric Coordination Intern
Career area: Textiles / Studio / Product Development
Duration: 6 months
Education: Buying, Fashion or Textiles
Language: Working proficiency in English
The Studio Fabric intern helps the team prepare fabric appointments with the Artistic Director for both the men’s and women’s collections. That includes researching Saint Laurent’s fabric archives, organizing research into different themes, updating stock information and preparing materials for presentation.
The day-to-day work also includes maintaining the fabric library, organizing fabric swatches for approval, helping developers with fabric research, preparing color ranges and presentation boards, coordinating shipments and pickups with suppliers and supporting the general logistics of the studio.
Saint Laurent is looking for someone studying Buying, Fashion or Textiles who has a good understanding of the textile market and new technical developments. Curiosity, organization, independence and flexibility are specifically mentioned, along with working English.

Retail/Wholesale Management Control Internship
Career area: Finance / Management Control
Fashion needs finance people, too, and this role is a good example of how a business or finance background can translate directly into a luxury company.
The internship supports management control across Saint Laurent’s retail and wholesale activity, giving the intern exposure to the financial side of how the commercial business performs. The role is geared toward students with a finance or management-control background and relevant previous experience.

When Should You Apply for a Saint Laurent January 2027 Internship?
If you’re interested in one of these Saint Laurent January 2027 internships, I would start preparing your application now.
We’re at the beginning of October and recruiting for January is already underway. There also isn’t one universal application deadline across these openings, so I wouldn’t use the January start date as an indication that you have months to decide.
This is useful beyond Saint Laurent, too. If you want a Spring 2027 fashion internship, September and October should already be active search and application months. Opportunities will continue appearing later in the semester, but you don’t want November or December to be the first time you start looking.
Is a Saint Laurent January 2027 Internship Right for You?
Before applying, check the individual listing carefully. Across these 15 internships, there are a few things I would pay particular attention to:
- Language requirements vary. Several Paris positions require both French and English, while others specify English.
- Education level matters. Some positions are looking specifically for Master’s or Bac+4/5 students, while others are open at Bac+3.
- Creative applicants need to be portfolio-ready. The Graphic Design and Product Design positions require portfolios.
- Technical skills show up repeatedly. Excel is important across merchandising and analytical roles, while positions in other functions mention tools including Launchmetrics, Tableau, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino and KeyShot.
- The departments are genuinely different. Don’t apply to Social Media, Press, Merchandising and Finance with essentially the same resume. Your strongest experience and skills should change depending on the position.
- Apply while the role is active. If a listing disappears from Kering Careers or the application page no longer works, assume the position may no longer be accepting applications rather than relying on an old link.
Maria’s Career Tip
Don’t look at a roundup like this and assume the goal is to apply to all 15.
Pick the two or three positions closest to the work you actually want to do and compare the qualifications side by side. Which skills keep appearing? Which software do they expect you to know? Are they asking for previous experience you don’t have yet? What could you add to your resume or portfolio before the next recruiting cycle?
Job descriptions are research. Even when you aren’t ready to apply, they can show you what employers are asking for before you’re sitting across from them in an interview.
And pay attention to the timing here. Saint Laurent is already recruiting in the fall for internships beginning in January 2027. If Spring 2027 is your target, your search should already be underway.
Even More Saint Laurent Opportunities
These 15 are a curated selection of the Saint Laurent January 2027 internships currently available in Paris. There are additional Saint Laurent student and trainee positions listed across merchandising, digital, creative and other areas.
