This summer, a variety of internship roles are available across multiple departments, located in Raleigh, NC, and Los Angeles, CA. Merchandise Planning Intern – Research Triangle Park, NC

Peter Millar is seeking a Merchandise Planning Intern to join the Supply Chain team for the 2025 Summer Internship Program. This position will assist the Peter Millar and G/Fore planning teams with analysis, reporting and process improvement to support planning, buying and inventory management.  The internship will be a hands-on experience where interns will have the opportunity to learn and develop key skills needed to be successful in merchandise planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily and weekly business performance reporting; including promotional activity tracking and reporting key insights to stakeholders
  • Analyze trends and provide inventory balancing recommendations between channels of business
  • Help manage master product hierarchy and attribute data, including identifying gaps to improve reporting accuracy
  • Manage bulk order process in partnership with planners, site operations and production
  • Analyze size selling and missed sales opportunity for all channels of business based on historical sales and inventory data
  • Monitor inventory on key marketing styles, provide recommendations and track marketing style performance
  • Assist in managing re-ticketing process, partnering with planning, warehouse and production teams  
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot issues, identify any process inefficiencies and implement tools or strategies to improve selling and reporting tools
  • Participate in testing and data validation for new planning system and tools

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess excellent attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills

Digital Marketing Intern – Research Triangle Park, NC

The Awareness Marketing Intern will work with the Peter Millar brand to help generate new customers. They will focus on website marketing assets, display and video channels, creative briefs and other upper funnel marketing awareness initiatives. They will work closely with the Awareness Marketing Manager for each of the brands and the e-commerce marketing and creative teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with key monthly reporting & data analysis on campaign and product spotlights wrap up reporting
  • Competitive Research (I.e. Creative analysis and what other brands are doing across the media space during key periods throughout the year)
  • Shadowing key business meetings: Win The Month, Media Pacing, EOSS planning, Monthly Creative meetings, Budgeting/Forecasting, Meeting with 3rd party agencies and vendors
  • Exposure to media channels and various platforms including: TV/CTV, Display, Audio, and other various Publisher Partnerships (Barstool Sports, Garden & Gun, Robb Report, Golf Digest, ESPN, etc.)
  • In depth project management training
  • Help with the ownership of the Digital Marketing Calendar that acts as a blueprint for what each channel will be promoting each month
  • Help launch new creative campaigns across different media channels with the help of our marketing agencies
  • Assist with creative content process – learn and understand the Peter Millar & G/FORE nuances to creative

  • Exposure to various internal business units to gather a holistic understanding of how large brands operate.   • Capstone Project: this role will be responsible for a capstone project that will run through the length of their internship.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Ideally pursuing a degree in Business or Marketing

Styling & Photo Production Intern – Raleigh, NC

This position will work in every stage of a photoshoot from prep days, shoot days, to completion.  The photoshoots in the Summer contain in-house still imagery, in-house on model imagery, offsite photoshoots and video projects throughout. Every week at the studio looks different than the week before. Looking for a candidate that wishes to work in a fast paced and always changing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work collaboratively with all members of the Creative Team, specializing with Studio aspects of Styling, Production, Casting and Photography
  • Assist the Styling Team with pulling product, creating excel documents, steaming product, recording product for inventory purposes, and assisting in the organization of our sample closets
  • Assist the Production Team creating the weekly schedule, and having a hand in booking talent 
  • Assist in the process of casting talent for our brand by creating model presentation boards, organizing the casting process, and understanding our brand identity
  • Assist the Photography Team by learning about lighting and camera work

G/Fore Marketing Intern – Los Angeles, CA

This role will work directly with the G/FORE Social Media and Public Relations teams on their day-to-day needs.

G/Fore Photo Studio Intern – Los Angeles, CA

This position will support the G/FORE team work in every stage of the photo shoot. From prep for the photo shoot, to the actual photo shoot days, as well as post photo shoot cleaning, sorting, rehanging and cataloging.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position will work collaboratively with all members of the Creative and Marketing Teams
  • The intern will prepare product for the photo shoot, to include assisting with labeling, styling, steaming, folding, and recording product for inventory purposes
  • The intern will assist in all facets of the preparation of the linebook, campaign, or eComm photo shoots

Production Intern – Research Triangle Park, NC

The Production Intern will be an integral part of the sample season by receiving, organizing and distributing seasonal samples upon their arrival from the factory. Each day, the intern will send a report detailing the current status of each requested sample to the Production, Design and Studio teams while also keeping a running document detailing the receipt and distribution of the received samples.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organization of samples upon receipt
  • Sample documentation
  • Sample reporting and shipping (as needed)
  • Assist the Production team with updates in SOR including: Stylemaster and PO level updates (as needed)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Supply Chain or Merchandising curriculum preferred but not required

Events Intern – Research Triangle Park, NC

This role will support executing event order processing from inception to completion, including  maintaining an organized workflow for successful outcomes. The Event Order fulfillment process includes frequent, proactive and clear planning communication amongst the Events Team, Sales Executives, Customers and other internal departments and external vendors, so this position will continually support those efforts. Given the time-sensitive nature of the sales orders this role manages, this candidate must possess strong attention to detail, prioritizing and analytical skills to fulfill expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand all types of Event Experiences offered in order to effectively step in to help and/or offer solutions to our team members, Sales Team and/or Customers
  • Support the review of Event Orders from Sales team and be involved with helping to plan all necessary steps to move the order through our system in the required timeline

Social Media Intern – Raleigh, NC

Assists with social media as a whole including ideation, content capture, editing, analytics and influencers. Works collaboratively with Creative, Marketing, E-Commerce Customer Care teams to drive a positive consumer experience on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok, through regular engagement with customers.

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of Peter Millar social channels with the creation of decks for ideas, storyboards and analytics.

  • Ability to capture content on an iPhone or cinematic camera to be used on social media channels.

The Creative Project Management Intern works with Creative Project Manager(s) to assist in all creative projects; from print, including seasonal line books and catalogs, to digital content and monthly campaigns.

Site Merchandising Intern – Research Triangle Park, NC

The Website Merchandising Intern will support and learn from the Merchandisers of Peter Millar & G/FORE to achieve the goal of providing a luxury shopping experience by optimizing category visual display, product display and product availability. The intern will learn and execute many of the tasks and responsibilities related to updating products and categories on the website, updating website inventory and ensuring products and categories are set up for marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented with a desire to drive sales through product placement and display and understand how the company analyzes data to inform the merchandising decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain expertise in key performance indicators (KPIs) and understand how to influence them through various site merchandising tools, including product recommenders, filters, onsite search, product assortment, timing, sorting, imagery, content tiles, etc
  • Support the assembly, loading, and quality assurance of product data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in analyzing weekly performance reports and contribute to the development and execution of actionable tasks based on insights.
