The Ogilvy Summer 2026 Internship Program is now open, offering students the opportunity to learn inside one of the most respected and influential agencies in the world. With placements available in both New York City and Chicago, this program gives early-career talent hands-on experience across the disciplines that define modern advertising and communications.
Known for its creative excellence, strategic thinking, and global impact, Ogilvy provides interns with meaningful project work, exposure to industry leaders, and a front-row seat to how powerful ideas are built and brought to life.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
▸ Duration: 10 Weeks
▸ Compensation: $20-$25 per hour
▸ Deadline: January 5, 2026 / 11:59pm ET
▸ Eligibility: Must be current undergraduate juniors
▸ Must be authorized to work in the United States
▸ Able to work in an in-person or hybrid workplace environment arrangement
▸ Modality: Hybrid / 3-4 days in-office

Art Director Intern
The Ogilvy Summer 2026 Intern will think BIG. Your ideas are often simple as you know how to translate them to a social post, an activation or even a product for an impactful solution. You are a team player and know how to partner well. Whether it’s a copywriter or a team of specialists (designers, animators, producers, etc.), you’re able to convey your vision. If the project calls for it, you can be scrappy and resourceful. Ogilvy sets the bar high for taste, artistry, and craft and you are up for the challenge.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learning, absorbing fast-paced agency life & deadlines
- Concepting ideas for client briefs
- Creating visual layouts for various media
- Supporting larger teams with various tasks like pulling visuals/scrap

You can think in big conceptual ideas, but also understand the execution, craft, and nuance of the various forms of copywriting. You understand that there are no dead mediums, only bad writing. And at Ogilvy, you could be working on categories from candles to tech to soda to insurance, so your book proves you are up for the challenge of jumping in/out of voices, tones, and targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Absorbing fast-paced agency life & deadlines
- Concepting ideas
- Lots of writing: headlines, taglines, social posts, video scripts, manifestos & more!

Design Creative Intern
The ideal Ogilvy Summer 2026 Design Creative Intern will ‘geek out’ on design principles, philosophy, techniques, tools, trends, and love learning the latest, greatest when it comes to anything/everything design, so probably have explored visual motion, 2D, 3D, and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adapt to fast-paced environment
- Learn new design software
- Support the design team designing visual for various mediums or helping pull scrap for projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- You are logical, analytical, understand the value of design
- You have a unique POV, discerning editing eye
- You can think conceptually when needed
- You are empathetic, collaborative and can communicate clearly

Integrated Production Intern
The Ogilvy Summer 2026 Integrated Production Intern is a ‘Make It Happen’ person, passionate about bringing ideas to life. Since production is an extension of creative, you are an imaginative spirit yourself with an elevated taste-level and eye for impactful work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learning the basics of production
- Shadowing on projects
- Learning the functions of every agency department & how they come together for production
- Supporting the producer team on various tasks such as timelines, completion reports, work release
- Liaising between creative & client
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understand that there can be trade-offs in production
- Scrappy and inventive when needed
- Organized and business-minded making sure projects are delivered on time and on budget
