Khaite has just opened applications for its Summer 2025 internship program in NYC! Known for its modern take on American sportswear, Khaite is offering exciting opportunities across PR, production, product development, retail and more.
This is a chance to work closely with industry professionals, develop essential skills and gain insight into the inner workings of a high-end fashion brand. Whether you’re interested in the creative or operational side of fashion, these internships provide an immersive experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
AVAILABLE ROLES
Product Development, Wovens, Intern
This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Development & Production, RTW and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate sample launches, which involves preparing cut tickets, corrected patterns, sew-guides, mock-ups to execute the sample package preparations
- Visit local factories / vendors daily for sample transportation & check in on development
- Launch mock-ups, pattern plot outs, fabric fusing, etc.
- Update digital design boards, WIPs.
- Maintain updates in PLM system – RLM (style entries, bom, cut tickets)
- Organize sample racks for fittings as well as maintain working space
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of garment construction, fit, and product development; with a particular interest in woven materials
- New York domestic development experience is a plus
- Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in RLM is a plus.

Public Relations Intern
This role will report to the PR Manager and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with all sample trafficking internally among different departments and externally among leading media outlets, industry stylists and brand influencers.
- Coordinate all domestic and international shipping of samples as well as local couriers.
- Monitor press and social media daily to search for KHAITE placements and compile all clips into an internal report.
- Support the team in creating seasonal press assets, including lookbook documents and collection decks, and hi-res imagery for external distribution.
- Conduct industry research for brand marketing, influencer seeding and partnerships.
- Assist the larger team to plan and execute press events, including runway shows, re-see events, VIP fittings, brand dinners, etc.
- Track event pickup on social and in media for recaps and compile clippings for post event recap reporting.
- Consistently maintain and organize the sample closet, showroom and storage unit.
- Order supplies to ensure KHAITE product is trafficked by luxury brand guidelines and standards.
- Liaise with the retail and logistics team to coordinate any stock pulls/returns and manage inventory.
- Strategize seasonal gifting initiatives with the PR team and track, analyze and catalogue the results across all social media.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the Google Suite
- Must be organized and have a strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and dynamically align to changing business conditions
- Keen interest for fashion and eagerness to immerse themselves in the industry

Private Client Events & Partnerships Intern
This role will report to the Senior Director, Private Client and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the coordination and execution of private client events, including guest list management, vendor coordination, and on-site event support.
- Research and identify potential brand partnerships that align with KHAITE.
- Support outreach and communication with VIP clients, stylists, and industry partners.
- Assist with preparation of event materials, gifting, and special client activations.
- Track and analyze event performance, client engagement, and partnership impact.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, database management, and logistics coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Marketing, Fashion, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the Google Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in event planning, client relations, or styling is preferred.

Production, Wovens Intern
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in tracking and organizing raw materials, trims, and fabrics for the production process
- Support the production team in maintaining detailed records of purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory
- Coordinate with local factories / vendors to ensure timely sample and bulk production; visiting local factories as needed
- Assist in fitting sessions and take notes on construction and fit adjustments
- Prepare and update production boards, tech packs, and cost sheets as needed
- Maintain updates in PLM system – RLM
- Organize sample racks for fittings as well as maintain working space
- Conduct market and material research to source innovative fabrics and trims
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry and maintaining production logs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of garment construction, fit, and production timelines; with a particular interest in woven materials
- New York domestic development experience is a plus
- Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in RLM is a plus.

Retail Excellence & Operations Intern
The Retail Excellence & Operations Intern will support key initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall retail experience, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the luxury retail industry and develop skills in data analysis, project management, and retail operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data from various sources to track store performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
- Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvements in store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service protocols.
- Assist in streamlining communication throughout the retail network
- Assist in compiling and building presentations that drive team development, from leadership thru staff level
- Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to identify best practices in the luxury retail industry.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing findings, project statuses, and KPIs.
- Support in CRM programming creation, rollout, and analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires and interns.
- Maintain HR databases and applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in talent sourcing by identifying potential candidates through various channels.
- Help coordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups.
- Conduct research on industry hiring trends, diversity initiatives, and best practices in HR.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives, such as planning internal events and creating newsletters.
- Assist in learning & development initiatives and projects.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents and organizing files.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
