Summer 2025 Internship Details:
▸ Program dates: June 2 to August 8
▸ 10-week program with 35-hour work week
▸ Hybrid, onsite work schedule: Tues, Wed & Thurs in office 
▸ Internship location in NYC
▸ Compensation: $22/hr + a $2,500 stipend 
▸ Application Deadline: February 28, 2025 

Who Can Apply:
▸ Rising junior or senior undergrad with a declared major in Business Administration, Communications, or other related field
▸ Minimum 3.0 GPA in core major classes preferred
▸ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. 

Additional Program Details:
▸ Final interviews conducted by our hiring teams virtually beginning late February into early March
▸ Internship offers will be extended by the recruitment team at the end of March into early April
▸ If you are applying for a design or creative internship (fashion design/technical design/graphic design), please be sure to provide samples of work (online portfolio, illustrations, flat sketches, and/or 3D renderings) 

AVAILABLE ROLES

Technical Design Intern

The Tech Design department owns technical packages from product development to pre-production SPL approval. Tech Designers execute proto-fit on a development stage and is responsible for proto-fit and fit comment for Showroom Samples and fit approvals. The Team works closely with design, supply, global merchandising supply as well as external vendors daily to support the best products execution for the brand. The internship will support all apparel categories. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge on reading technical package
  • Capable of understanding design details and construction of samples
  • Proactive on learning and willingness to help on projects
  • Support the Technical Design team on a daily basis based on priorities
  • Organize and prepare samples for fittings
  • Support Technical Design team on sample tracking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 3D program knowledge is a must

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous relevant internship / work experience or proven curiosity about the industry
  • Proven academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), CAD; experience in any PLM system is a plus but not necessary.

Womens Merchandising Intern

Calvin Klein Mainline Apparel is looking for a Women’s Apparel Merchandising summer intern. This role will be under the mentorship of the Senior Merchandising Manager for Women’s Apparel. They will be responsible for helping the team with the development of the assortment, merchandise strategies and facilitating department deliverables that support in meeting these objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Merchandising process including SKU planning, assortment building, competitive analysis, systems support, line matrix, and selling tool maintenance 
  • Translation of key consumer insights & competitive pricing analysis into relevant future brand positioning recommendations, centered around a strong understanding of all key financial metrics
  • Working closely with the merchant team with exposure to Design, Sales, Supply, Operations, and global buying teams

QUALIFICATIONS

The sales internship position is under the Calvin Klein Wholesale business and focused on department store distribution. This role is primarily focused on assisting account executive / sales assistant with day-to-day business needs. This includes managing selling reports, maintaining samples and showroom, performing retailer site audits, support with macys.com and other market follow-up needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Weekly top ten selling reporting and sample coordination
  • MCOM site audits (navigation, stockouts, product pooling, assets)
  • Market document prep and post-market recapping

Store Communications and L&D Intern

The Store Communications and L&D intern will learn about communications and training support for Calvin Klein stores. They will be involved with curating store communication, supporting L&D projects and assisting with internal social media and newsletters. The intern will gain exposure to different departments within the organization as part of the assigned projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with internal store communication including task directives, editorial, and social
  • Act as a point of contact for the Retail Operations Team, responding to store inquiries
  • Create and update procedural and training documents for stores
  • Work with various department representatives to ensure store materials are current
  • Support video filming and editing

Calvin Klein Mainline Apparel is looking for a menswear Supply – Sourcing and PD, Men’s Wovens. This role will be under the mentorship of the Men’s Wovens PD Manger. 

The intern will assist with product development tasks for the Men’s Wovens are Calvin Klein Sportswear and Calvin Klein Jeans. The intern will learn about our development process and assist with system updates, organizing submits and passing to appropriate parties in our internal teams such as design and merchandising.   

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive in design submits and development submits.
  • Assist in system updates in Entefy and Centric
  • Attend fittings and record notes clearly and carefully.
  • Follow up on proto status & SMS status
  • Assist with additional daily needs.

Marketing, Fashion Office Intern

The Calvin Klein Marketing Fashion Office intern will assist with prepping seasonal product for marketing campaign shoots and supporting the team on all marketing related needs for the Fashion Office. The intern will help with styling prep and execution, documentation of styling decks, maintaining the fashion closet, and possible on-set support as needed for photo shoots.

  • Checking in seasonal samples

The Calvin Klein Content Production Intern will be under the mentorship of the Director of Creative Production. The intern will assist the department’s shoot and postproduction teams with, including but not limited to, day-to-day tasks, shoot prep, on-set support, and postproduction.

The Calvin Klein Global Merchandise Planning Intern will be under the mentorship of the Global Merchandise Planner Manager, Apparel. The intern will assist with the aggregation and analysis of global data used to understand and address product opportunities and challenges. They will support the development of global pre-season product financial plans, seasonal investment reporting and ad-hoc analysis reflective of evolving business needs. There will be opportunities to work across all categories of the CK Apparel division (Men’s and Women’s) and cross-functionally with key business partners in Merchandising, Supply and Production. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pull weekly sales reporting for business analysis
  • Analyze in-season & pre-season product selling trends (by category, best / worst selling styles, color selling)
  • Compile and validate global investment data
  • Attend internal and cross-functional team meetings, helping to record & recap key takeaways and actions
  • Assist collective Global Merchandise Planning team with ad-hoc projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
